Georgian Turquoise and Pearl Locket Ring c.1830
£1,450.00
A beautiful Regency era turquoise and pearl locket ring.
The ring has 5 beautifully matched cabochon turquoise gemstones in a cruciform design set with pearls. The ring has elegant open scrollwork shoulders onto a reeded shank and is low set to the hand.
The ring has its original glazed locket to the reverse of the head to keep a lock of hair close to the skin of the wearer. This was typical of the Georgian era and it is in wonderful condition.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this excellent condition are increasingly hard to find.
