Victorian Diamond Cluster Earrings c.1890
A large pair of late Victorian old cut diamond cluster earrings.
These fabulous earings have an old cut diamond set to the centre within a fluted gold coronet mount. The central diamond is surrounded with a border of smaller old cut diamonds in a coronet setting.
The earrings are mounted in silver and gold but have been 'gilt' at some point in their history.
The design makes the diamonds appear larger than they are and the earrings are a real statement when on the ear.
The earrings have post and butterfly fitting for pierced ears.
