Victorian Ruby 5 Stone Carved Half Hoop Ring c.1890
A stylish late Victorian design set with 5 perfectly matched oval rubies.
The stones are each closely set with a tiny rosecut diamond known as a diamond point set on either side. The rubies are set into a beautifully carved half hoop design with scroll work decoration to the shoulders. This was a design very popular in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.
The ring is low set to the finger and wearable on an everyday basis.
