An elegant Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
This beautiful ring has a square cut sapphire to the centre with 3 small diamonds set on either side in a stylised 'shield' design. The sapphire is a lovely bright blue which is complemented by the white of the diamonds.
The head of the ring is rubover set within a millgrain (serrated) edge onto tapered shoulders making it look like it is floating on the hand when worn.
Typical of a ring from this era is it finely made and low set to the finger. It would make a beautiful engagement ring.
