Victorian Diamond & Pearl Brooch/Pendant c.1890
An elegant late Victorian brooch/pendant.
A versatile piece of jewellery, this lovely French made pendant is set with small diamonds and pearls (untested probably natural).
The pendant which has repeated fleur-de-lys motifs throughout hangs from a detatchable fleur-de-lys design bail with a further articulated section which moves beautifully when worn.
The pendant also has a 2 piece brooch fitting which can detatch when being worn as a pendant but allows this piece to also be worn as a brooch.
It is mounted in silver and gold typical of the era and has a fabulous shaped fitted box from the original retailer Maurice Moses of London.
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
